The efzn coordinates joint public relations activities to communicate the content and results of Lower Saxony's cross-location energy research. It provides insights into the background, motivation, goals, and methods of the research, as well as its results. The content and progress of scientific developments are thus transferred to all parts of society. The efzn Contact Service Science – Economy, Society, Politics plays a key role in building these bridges.

The transformation of the energy system needs to be effectively shaped through joint efforts. To this end, the efzn contact service brings together the knowledge of stakeholders from the scientific community with that of stakeholders from business, society, and politics.
